There has been an explosion of interest to breed color
and pattern mutations since 1991 when the first designer
leopard geckos hatched. Any color and pattern you can think
of is possible and many of these dominant recessives will be
realized in the next few years. Breeding mutations
with mutations accelerates the rate of variation. The leopard gecko is becoming the Koi Carp of herps.
